Immediately, my heart jumped. My eyes were attached, I couldn’t believe it. I swear to god I was in a dream. The shiny windows, the rusty anchors and the flood of rain piling up fountains of water on top of the roof deck.

Sand flickering in the air as my delicate tanned feet scatter through the luscious sand. Tip toeing into the crystal clear Fiji waters. Metallic blue fish emerging out of their microscopic diggings to come nibble on my rough and salty feet.

Squeak, Squeak the brakes fail. One step out of the silver box,(that the driver uses for steps). My ears are now connected to the glorious sound of island music.

Topa Block Showcase

On Tuesday 26 of september 2017 Topa block had there school showcase rm 20 the Media Hub did a robotic dance. Here are some photos.

 My favourite part of the dance was doing the dance and having my own solo.

2 Day Trip

On monday and Tuesday Rooms 18,20 and 21 went on a school trip to The marea and also 3 different places in kikihi. Day 1 was the marea trip the marea that we went to go learn about was the OTawhao marae at the te awamutu collage. We learnt all about the carvings and we also made some art. Day 2 we went to Kikihi and visited the historical significance. First of was the Rewi Maniapoto Monument next was Orakau battle site and last was Rangiawhia church.

The Pyramid Tower- Hotel

Pyramid Tower

Today my team and I created a tower, we called it the Pyramid Tower.

We used all different ideas, like adding more paper and sticky tape to our creation stronger.

Our team used a triangle shape concept. I do think our creation was strong and safe,

but It started to get a bit flimsy. We reinforced our tower by adding more paper.

We gave our tower a meaning behind it. I would rate our tower a 8/10.

Reading Contrat T2 Wk 1

Our topic of inquiry this term is inventors and creators, So our reading is all about this. I will be completing one page per day.

Firefighter Interview

On Thursday the 6 of April, two firefighters came to Te Awamutu Primary School.Room 20 well two student's from room 20 Cullen and Eva interviewed the firefighters, FF Wayne and FF Ian (nicknames Noddy and Barney) One of the questions was what was your worst crime. FF Wayne said that once he and someone else had to help a Police Officer the PO was in a car race to try get the criminal but the criminal had turned his car around and he smashed into the PO car. Both cars were scrunched together and the PO foot had to get cut of and he got hurt really badly.

Today was so much and interesting because room 20 interviewed Police Officers. There was to presenters Teina and Ashley, and also two cops. Constable Alex and Constable Rainier. The presenters asked a bunch of questions, My fave question was power invisibility or super strength. I would of choose invisibility.

Go a...way as my tall, monstrous brother tiptoes into my small, tiny miniature room. He gently whispers in my blocked ear, it’s time to get up in the morning, repeated five times. He prances around my room, like a pink fluffy unicorn. Don’t you just hate it when you have to get up in the morning. and you just want that extra sleep, then you fall asleep again. Well that happened to me. I feel like an angry gorilla trying to escape from his vast enclosure. Finally I clapes out of my bed. Very ungracefully. School time great. Just great.

Anxiously, I arrived at the infested school grounds, fields covered with excitement and plabagarstd people. Parents yelling at their kids. Laughter traveled around the area. Inflatable rides trying to hold in the air. Oil and diesel running low. Icecream melting in people's, smoking hot hands.

I now know it is time. I confidently strut up to the most gustingest and googest experiment ever. The slime yuck, yuck. Are you up for it. “Asked mrs parkes with a jelly look on her face. I gently and and horrify place my sensitive hand in the blue, chucky and, I don’t even want to know what else. My hand is in. I just realized that the aim of the game is to feel in the slime to try find the objects. My hand is going as slow as a snail. Disgusting

Raffle time. Unfortunately a glorious had to stop singing but I new it was time for the biggest and coolest prize of all. The um… um… Oh dammit I forgot. Anyway it’s amazing. The unknown gy stood straight with a smirk on his face and announced the winner. I couldn’t believe myself I didn't get it no, no, nooooooooo, oh well better luck next time.

I stand up on top of the grey, rocky pedestal, with a strange feeling in my stomach like butterflies and wasps all coming together in one little billabong. My ears open up like a dog as I hear the crowd cheering as loud as a howler monkey.

I make my way to the start, I feel like I have been dragged by my parents to do my best. Other competitors pumped, excited and  ready for their race. ON your marks, get set, go!!!

I start my race, first lap done, second lap done, Third...Lap...Done.

Felw that actually wasn’t so bad. I emerge myself out of the aqua blue pool, and I get a sudden feeling like when Mr Cox is getting harassed by children to get in the pool.

Maybe it’s just relief.

Ahh sweet, sour and taking my tastebuds to the next level, fascinated.  Tonight I score you a 10.

Desperately I place myself onto the couch like a scared monkey, waiting for MKR to replay.

Dancing around the room, busting to go to bathroom, but I just can’t because I will miss the most anxiously part.

I just can’t hold it in, it’s too…  MUCH!!!!!! Oh well.
